Summer Reading Preview

June 7-August 14, 2013

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Portage District Library with us by participating in our annual Summer Reading Program! A summer full of fun and reading begins on Friday, June 7. We have a reading program for every age.

Youth Summer Reading Program

Preschool and elementary age children earn prizes for reading (or being read) books of their choice throughout the summer! Simply keep track of the number of hours read. Every 5 hours you earn a prize. The goal is to read 30 hours before August 14.

Middle & High School Summer Reading Program

Teens earn prizes for each week they finish a book and submit the title and author. Participants can submit books of their choice as well as required school summer reading titles.

Summer Reading Program for Adults

Every time you complete a book, you are entered into a raffle for fantastic prizes! Anyone 18 and over is eligible to join.
