Finding a Job
Finding a job is a skill set in and of itself. The library has guides on careers: what’s required of the job and how to get there. We have books, DVDs, and audio books about interviewing skills and resume writing, and can even lend you books about improving computer skills, which are important for many jobs today.
You can use the internet resources below, some of which will require a library card number because we subscribe to them. Or you can do a subject search in our catalog, using terms like: Employment interviewing, Job hunting, Vocational guidance United States, Occupations United States, Job hunting United States, Employment forecasting United States, Résumés (Employment), Vocational qualifications.
