Any time we are open and don’t have a scheduled program in the Makerspace, equipment that can be used without staff presence is available for use. Check our Event Calendar for times when anyone can drop-in to work in to the Makerspace and get assistance from our staff without an appointment.
We recommend reserving equipment in our Makerspace to guarantee the device you want to use is available when you arrive at the library. You can reserve equipment to use Adobe Creative Cloud software, all of our digitization equipment, and our Cricuts.
The Heat Press, Large Format Printer, Laser Engraver, Sublimation Printer and the 3D Printer are equipment that you can only use during Staffed Hours. Please contact (269) 585-8712 or createandmake@portagelibrary.info if you have questions about using those devices.
It is not necessary to reserve the button maker, magnet makers, sewing machines, magnet maker, or the Creative and STEM Kits.
